Unicis is a key contributor to the Open-Source Cyber Resilience Act Tools (OSCRAT) project, which aims to deliver low-cost, open-source solutions for SMEs to comply with the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). Built on the Unicis Open-source Platform, OSCRAT provides a suite of tools to support European SMEs in meeting CRA compliance requirements, improving internal processes, and enhancing cyber resilience. The platform will be available as a free, self-hosted, open-source tool with a one-click marketplace install option, as well as a paid version hosted in EU data centers that emphasize environmental responsibility.

The project aims to strengthen the cyber resilience of manufacturing companies integrating Industry 4.0 technologies by addressing the cybersecurity skills gap through training for both technical and non-technical individuals. Unicis will contribute as a subject matter expertise in cybersecurity, data protection & privacy, leveraging its Interactive Awareness Program and Unicis Platform to deliver tailored training content to SMEs, thereby enhancing their defense against cyber threats for Operational Technology (OT).

Unicis is a key contributor to the Virtual Innovation Consortium (VIC) project, which aims to address Europe’s digital skills gap by developing a comprehensive XR educational ecosystem, including a 120 ECTS Master’s Programme, advanced training, and a Summer School targeting non-ICT professionals. Unicis leads on cybersecurity and data protection, ensuring GDPR compliance and secure digital infrastructure across all learning platforms. Leveraging its Open-source Platform and Interactive Awareness Program, Unicis delivers tailored security training and implements privacy-by-design principles to support safe and inclusive access to immersive technologies.

SAFE SPORT

The SAFE SPORT project focuses on improving digital safety for female athletes by addressing online threats such as cyberbullying, identity theft, and harassment. In collaboration with Unicis, the project delivers cybersecurity education, training, and policy development to create safer online environments in sports. It aligns with key EU regulations, including the Directive on Combating Violence Against Women, the Cyber Resilience Act, and the NIS2 Directive, and supports Erasmus+ Sport priorities on safety, digital transformation, governance, and gender equality.
